Trading Day
Trading Day is a tournament-style game open to anyone over 18 and played every business day from the start of trading in Sydney at 09:00 EST (local time) until one hour after Wall Street closes at 22:00 EST (local time). The game ends when the business week ends at 22:00 EST US time on Friday.
At the end of each day the player who has made the most virtual profit is the winner for that day. The overall winner is the player who has made the most virtual profit during the week. Prizes are as follows:
1st prize = $250,000 live trading account + 1-year Education and Trading course + Fantasy Day Trader™ trading jacket + weekend trip for two to Chicago
2nd prize = $150,000 live trading account + 1-year Education and Trading course
3rd prize = $100,000 live trading account + 1-year Education and Trading courseTrading their live account for a period of one year, winners will keep any profit they make when the year ends. However, if they lose 10% of their original account, it will be closed.
The entry fee for Trading Day is $2.50/game, which can be paid on this website or in-app. For $495 players can purchase a ‘Season Ticket’ and play every day for a year (a saving of approximately $130). Each ‘Season Ticket Holder’ will also be provided with a comprehensive training and coaching course with a $1,995 value (see FDT Academy).

Free Play
Free Play allows you to learn how the markets work without the pressure of competing to win prizes. Learn how to spot or anticipate trends – how coffee prices are among the most turbulent of commodities, for example, or how the markets respond to major news events. Sometimes a stock can surge or plunge simply because of something a politician or CEO has said. But even the greatest traders – no, especially the greatest traders – accept that they can’t get it right every time, which has implications for how they hedge their risks.
