A pioneering app which allows you to trade on real financial markets with virtual cash has been approved for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Launched by JAK Enterprises Ltd (JAK) in September on BlackBerry, Fantasy Day Trader streams live financial data from more than 170 global stock exchanges to mobile handsets or tablet PCs.

The app allows players to emulate the financial traders who can make – or lose – fortunes on the global markets each day.

Users can download and play Fantasy Day Trader for free, placing virtual trades on a wide range of stocks, currencies or commodities. Very soon they will be able to compete against one another in a number of tournament-style games for real prizes, which include live trading accounts.
